While high dosages of such drugs are necessary for extreme conditions, the administration of cannabinoid therapy and drugs developed by Tetra Pharm in combination with the SSRI’s and antidepressants reduces the severity of side effects for the user. The alternative treatment method also helps long term users of antidepressants to step away from the current medication, without experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms. In that light, Tetra Pharm’s research and development team is optimistic about cannabinoids replacing opioids for mild cases of pain as well as mental health disorders.
